When do you need a UX design?

UX design focuses on the user experience (web) applications. But what is the difference with regular web design? Does your website need a UX design? In this article we will update you.

Resumé

User experience

UX stands for User Experience. A user is a person who uses your product, service, website, webshop or application. During this use, an experience arises for this person. This experience can be positive, negative or neutral. We call this user experience. In short, we can say that the user experience is determined by a number of factors:

  1. The appearance of the application/website.
  2. The user-friendliness. Can the user easily complete his task and find everything quickly?
  3. The functionality and speed of the application/website.

UX design

A UX designer puts himself in the shoes of the customer. A good user experience can only be achieved by asking the right questions and setting realistic objectives.

A good user experience can yield a lot of profit. The result is often higher online turnover, higher conversion figures and/or a higher quality of website visits (engagement). And don't forget: happy online visitors and customers!

“With good UX design we ensure that the customer does not experience frustrations and pain points on your website. We put the customer first and ensure that he can complete his task as efficiently as possible.”

Life is a journey, not a destination

One of the most striking features of UX is that it is a learning process and not an end result. During each phase of the project we investigate whether the assumptions correspond with practice. We adjust the project where necessary. Depending on the budget, we consult the statistics after the website goes live. Feedback forms the basis for re-researching, testing, designing and implementing.

A UX designer does not work alone; In collaboration with our online marketing experts, web developers, designers, copywriters and project managers, we achieve optimal results.

Do I need a UX design?

Everyone benefits from a website that is user-friendly and user-oriented. The complexity of a website determines the added value of UX design. If your visitors have to perform many actions on your website, you will benefit more from UX design than with a website on which visitors only consume static information. We can divide the urgency of a UX design into the UX urgency scale.

Put your customer first

What problems do your users have and how can you help them as efficiently as possible? Choose user-friendliness over design or ensure a perfect balance. Replace vague assumptions with real knowledge about your website user and online behavior. Even after completion of the project. We are happy to think along with you.
